Though we cannot pinpoint the exact date of Manon Prat’s birth, we suspect she’s around the same age as her beau, Flavien, who entered this world in 1992.
Hailing from the picturesque lands of France, Manon now calls sunny California her home. She went to the horse riding school AFASEC.
And speaking of loved ones, Manon happens to be one of the two offspring of Marc and Christine Lemaire. Her older sister, Elodie, is her confidante and partner in crime, sharing a bond that would warm even the coldest of hearts.
Sadly, Manon’s mother has already departed from this world, leaving us all wondering about the date and reason for her untimely demise.

She Worked As An Exercise Rider
When Flavien got the opportunity to ride in America in 2015, he wasn’t going without his girl. And, with the help of the superhero jockey agent Derek Lawson, Manon was able to score a work visa and join him on his American adventure!
The couple stuck together through thick and thin, and upon arriving in the U.S., Manon landed a job as an exercise rider for the talented trainer Keith Desormeaux. She even worked at Tom Proctor Racing Stable before that, so it’s safe to say this girl knows her way around a horse.

From Racing to Jumping And Finding Her Perfect Horse
Growing up in France, she competed in show jumping and eventing but eventually found her true calling on the track. With her husband’s encouragement, Prat started jumping again and began looking for her own horse.
Enter Crosscheck Carlos, a recently rehabbed stakes winner who caught Prat’s eye when she rode him for the first time. Despite already having two horses on her plate, Maria Falgione, a fellow racetracker, and friend, suspected that Carlos might be just what Prat was looking for.
And she was right! When Prat got on Carlos, she instantly knew he was the one. He had everything she was looking for in a horse, and they quickly formed a special bond.

From Delayed Dreams to Sweet Success
Manon Prat and Crosscheck Carlos were ready to take the show jumping world by storm, starting with the 2020 Thoroughbred Classic Horse Show at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center. But alas, just like many other plans, their dreams were put on hold when the pandemic hit, and horse shows came to a screeching halt.
Not to be deterred, Prat and Carlos continued their training, and when the shows started back up, they were more than ready to compete. Their hard work paid off at the Hansen Dam Horse Park in Lake View Terrace, Calif., where they took home the top prize in both the .85 meter Pre-Child/Adult and the .90 meter Modified Child/Adult jumper classes!
Talk about a comeback! Prat and Carlos dominated in the show-jumping arena. Their win was nothing short of well-deserved and impressive.

Love on the Racetrack: The Love Story of Flavien and Manon Prat
From Teenage Sweethearts to Married Couple
Love knows no bounds, and that’s true for Flavien and Manon. The jockey met his soulmate at the young age of 17, and they’ve been inseparable ever since! While we don’t know the details of their meet-cute, we’re sure it was a total heart-melter.
Fast forward to July 29th, 2010, when the couple took the ultimate leap and tied the knot, and since then, they’ve been together through thick and thin, proving that true love really does exist.

They Have Two Children – Elena and Lenny
After years of being together, Flavien and Manon Prat are still strong and have expanded their family to include two adorable children.
In November 2018, they welcomed their daughter Elena into the world, and although they kept her hidden for almost two years, they finally revealed her face on Halloween 2020. Elena already has a love for horses, which makes sense considering her dad’s profession. Who knows, maybe she’ll be a jockey in the making!
But the Prat family wasn’t done growing just yet. In August 2021, Manon announced on Instagram that they were expecting their second child, and in November 2021, Mrs. Prat gave birth to their son, Lenny.
They shared the news with a beautiful reel video of their family portraits in December 2021. The Prat family is now a happy family of four, and it’s clear that they’re enjoying every moment together.
