Adam Hadwin and Jessica Dawn Kippenberger’s love story started in 2014 during the Web.com Tour’s Air Capital Classic in Wichita, Kansas. Adam, who was playing in the tournament, and Jessica, who was working as a nurse practitioner at the time, were introduced through the dating app Tinder. “We were Tinder-matched in Wichita and we went out once when I was there that week (and) had dinner,” Adam revealed in an interview with GOLF.com.

The couple hit it off and began dating long distance, with Adam traveling frequently for golf tournaments. They faced many challenges in their relationship, including two failed pregnancies and struggles with infertility. However, their love for each other remained strong and they eventually turned to in vitro fertilization (IVF), which led to the birth of their daughter Maddox on January 8, 2020. 

Adam and Jessica tied the knot on March 24th, a significant date that holds a special place in their hearts. It marks both their wedding anniversary, and the day Adam achieved his first PGA Tour win at the Valspar Championship in 2017. Their wedding was a private ceremony with only close family and friends in attendance.

Despite their busy schedules, Adam and Jessica continue to prioritize their relationship and make time for each other. The foundation aims to provide support to families facing infertility and adoption, as well as those who have experienced pregnancy and infant loss.
