Life had other plans, and they bumped into each other again in 2013 during Javy’s Puerto Rico escapade. That’s when sparks flew, and they officially started their journey as a couple. Irmarie eventually made her way to Chicago to be by Javy’s side.

He collaborated with the online jeweler, James Allen, and chose the special moment of Irmarie’s birthday during their return from Spring Training to pop the question. And from the start, Báez had always known she was the one he wanted to marry.
As time went on, their love story continued to unfold. On January 26, 2019, they sealed the deal and tied the knot in a beautiful wedding ceremony in Puerto Rico.
